北海道を代表する花を、和の文化である「かんざし」に見立て、女性の髪飾りとして描いた羊羹のパッケージデザインです。
羊羹という和菓子に合わせて、北海道の花と和のモチーフを組み合わせました。
かんざしにしたときに可愛らしく見える花を選び、それぞれの花の色や印象に合わせて、味ごとにデザインしています。

Hokkaido Yokan
A packaging design for a traditional Japanese sweet, featuring flowers representing Hokkaido as traditional hair ornaments (kanzashi).
I wanted to combine the Japanese character of yokan with the natural beauty of Hokkaido. I selected flowers that I felt looked especially charming as kanzashi, and illustrated each one as a hair ornament. The flowers, colors, and flavors were then paired to create three distinctive designs.
